Sauna Terms & Condtions
By using the facilities at Arisaig Sauna, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
Sauna Usage:
- Sauna users do so at their own risk.
- Alcohol and nudity are not permitted.
- Children under 16 years not permitted to use sauna during social sessions.
Children 8-16 years only allowed to use sauna during a private session. Must be accompanied by an adult. - Remove all hanging jewelry before entering.
- Consult a doctor if you have health concerns.
- Do not use the sauna if you have specific medical conditions.
- Avoid sauna use if you have fungal infections or open wounds.
Sea Usage:
- Use the sea for cold plunges at your own risk.
- Ensure you are a capable swimmer.
- Be aware of sea conditions and dangers.
Sauna Etiquette:
- Remove footwear and wash feet before entering.
- No makeup or skincare products.
- Do not enter if you've dyed your hair within 72 hours.
- Enter and exit safely.
- Sit on a towel at all times.
- Limit sauna sessions to 15 minutes.
- Pour water onto sauna stove gently.
- Only use provided sauna water on hot rocks.
- Do not touch the stove or rocks.
- No glass inside the sauna.
Property and Admission:
- Arisaig Sauna is not liable for loss or damage to property.
- Group bookings must adhere to the terms.
- Admission may be refused for safety reasons.

What should I bring?
Your swimwear and 2 towels - one to dry yourself and one to sit on in the sauna. It's a good idea to bring a warm robe or coat and sandals too. Crocks, sandals or similar as sea entry can be rocky.
How many can use the sauna at a time?
We limit our group sizes to offer the best experience to you and your fellow bathers – Typically the sauna seats 4 people. (5 or 6 is fine with a private session).
